Baglietto has just unveiled a remarkable addition to its lineup: the stunning 155-foot superyacht, which boasts not one, but two infinity pools. This exciting development comes in response to feedback from clients and the broader market.
The Italian shipyard has made a strategic move by expanding its popular Dom series to include this larger model, catering to the increasing demand for spacious displacement yachts under 500 Gross Tons (GT). "The Dom 155 is a direct result of our attentive listening to client desires and market trends," stated Fabio Ermetto, Baglietto's chief commercial officer. He noted that while the existing 35 and 41-meter models have been well-received, there has been a consistent call for even larger options.
The name 'Dom' is derived from the Latin word 'domus,' meaning "home," underscoring the series' emphasis on luxurious and comfortable living at sea. The new Dom 155, which stands as the largest in the collection, significantly surpasses its predecessors: the 115-foot and 133-foot models. Similar to the 133, the 155 features a lightweight aluminum exterior that minimizes draft and enhances overall efficiency. Additionally, this yacht offers generous interior spaces, seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor decks, and extensive customization opportunities. These attributes are set to make the Dom 155 particularly appealing to North American yacht enthusiasts.
Designed by Stefano Vafiadis, the yacht's exterior showcases sleek lines and distinctive longitudinal cuts, hallmarks of the Dom series. At the heart of the design lies the aft deck, which features a central infinity pool and a versatile beach club area. This space can transform into a wellness retreat complete with a spa and gym, or serve as extra storage for large tenders. Just a few steps away, a swim platform equipped with a transformer allows easy access to the water or docking areas.
The main deck emphasizes a harmonious blend of indoor and outdoor living, featuring fully retractable doors that create a fluid connection between the interior lounges and outdoor spaces. Also found on the main deck is a dining area designed for ten guests, a well-equipped galley with an adjacent pantry, and an opulent full-beam owner's suite replete with luxury amenities. Picture a spacious cabin with a king-size bed, an office, and dual bathrooms featuring a lavish walk-through shower.
Venturing down to the lower deck, four guest cabins with en-suite bathrooms await, providing comfortable accommodations for family and friends. Above on the upper deck, crew quarters feature four en-suite cabins and a lounge that opens up to the outdoors from three sides. There is also the option to add a guest cabin on this deck if desired. Outside, a delightful al fresco dining area and a cozy relaxation zone add to the appeal.
Moving forward, the foredeck presents a serene space for both relaxation and recreation, adorned with a plush private lounge and a garage accommodating a tender and a Jet Ski. To top it all off, nearly 1,400 square feet of sundeck space offers sunbathing areas, a conversation nook, and yet another infinity pool complete with an integrated bar.
In terms of performance, the Dom 155 is powered by two CAT C32 engines, allowing it to reach an impressive maximum speed of 16 knots. The first hull of this extraordinary vessel is anticipated to be delivered in early 2029.
As you can see, this new offering from Baglietto is not just a yacht; it's a floating paradise designed for those who value luxury and comfort on the high seas.
